Call for Pecha Kucha Presentations
As part of Sovereign Hill’s 2021 Autumn Design & Tradition seasonal program, we are inviting proposals for a Pecha Kucha night.
The format is show-and-tell, 20 slides x 20 seconds-a-slide.
The invitation is open to artisans, tradespeople, makers, designers, heritage advisors, architects, educators, researchers, historians – in fact, anyone with a vested interest in rare and forgotten trades and crafts.
Showing and talking about your work may be new for you, which is why we have chosen the Pecha Kucha format. It’s a fun and social way to share work and ideas with like-minded and supportive people.
The purpose of this event is to:
- Share current work in the rare and forgotten trade and craft sector.
- Inspire interdisciplinary collaboration and learning.
- Connect people and build community.
- Discover interesting work and the people who are doing it.
Ready to submit a proposal? Download the Registration form here. Applications close Sunday April 25th
You might not feel ready to share your work this year, but you’d like to come along and see what it’s all about. Register to attend here.
