Museum Collections Education

Our museum collection of over 150,000 items of cultural and historical significance is your window into the past. Our items tell a wide variety of stories from ancient history to today, with a special emphasis on the goldfields and colonial history in our region. Our programs are curriculum linked across year levels and our Collection CloseUp Learning Programs give you access to material not on public display. Students learn how to care and manage cultural material, and the history and ethics behind our collections.
